Common faults of VKV metering pumps

Author: ComeFrom: Date:2020/9/2 16:03:17 Hits:2561
The VKV metering pump rotates abnormally to 100% of the stroke length for liquid suction. This enables the entire set of components to rotate until the leakage discharge hole on the back plate aligns with the bottom end of the pump. Adjust the hydraulic end and diaphragm to the appropriate position during the operation of the pump.
The pulse duration may not be long enough for the reaction time. Compared with the standard pulse width of 80msec, the pulse width expansion of the flow monitor can be activated to increase the pulse width to 300msec. Activate the intelligent conversion switch, remove the protective cover of the fixed circuit board, and remove the jumper X-1. This activates the extended function, allowing for more time before the fault indication.
The metering pump is equipped with a self-exhaust pump head and adopts self-priming liquid suction. Keep the suction pipeline as short as possible.
2) Replace the diaphragm of the metering pump
Trouble is often encountered when removing the old diaphragm. Offer some additional suggestions on how to remove the old diaphragm.
After the pump head becomes loose and before removing it, adjust the stroke length to the 10% position. The electromagnetic shaft can have sufficient pressure to keep its connection stable, so that the diaphragm can be unscrewed.
2. Pull the hydraulic end outward to disengage the screw from the socket. Hold the liquid end and rotate counterclockwise. There is a little resistance. You can unscrew the diaphragm.
3. The chemicals being measured may crystallize at the hydraulic end, causing the ball and seat of the check valve to fail to work properly.
4. There may be gas leakage at the suction end of the metering pump. The connecting parts on the suction side of the hydraulic end may be missing O-rings or the connection of the suction valve may be loose.
3) When using flow monitoring to measure a high-viscosity medium, a flow fault indication signal was received during the liquid drawing process. How can this problem be solved?
Move the hydraulic end by loosening the screws of the four pump heads. Rotate the stroke length to 10% and grasp the hydraulic end, then slide out from the screw hole. Then the screws do not come into contact with them, but still hold the back plate and diaphragm. Then rotate this component counterclockwise. With a little resistance, the diaphragm will loosen from the electromagnetic shaft. If the diaphragm has not yet loosened, apply some lubricating oil to the contact surface between the diaphragm and the electromagnetic shaft. After a few minutes, gently tap the diaphragm with a small plastic hammer. Then proceed again according to the above description.
